BACHELOR OF ARTS IN THEOLOGY, MISSION, & MINISTRY
SPTC’s 3-year degree is an engaging and interactive programme that lays strong and even foundations in the faith and Christian life. Our aim is for students to learn not just what to think, but how to think. To that end, this programme introduces all the major tools of thinking theologically, in order to establish lifelong learners, biblical interpreters, and reflective practitioners.
Students on this programme gather weekly, on Thursday evenings, for worship and study on campus and online. Together, we study the Bible, the creed, worship, mission and evangelism, ethics, history and so much more. An annual college retreat and 5 teaching intensives complete the year. When combined with the Formation Programme, the BA is an established route for training for ministry and leadership in a range of churches, including ordination in the Anglican Church.
Students who complete one year of this programme can be awarded a Certificate. After two years, students can be awarded a Diploma.
You’ll find more information about this programme below – don’t miss our FAQs if you have further questions, and if you don’t find the answers you need there, just get in touch. We look forward to welcoming you at an upcoming open event, and also offer information discussions for potential applicants.
