WELCOME
St Paul’s Theological College Malaysia (SPTC) is a young, vibrant theological college based in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Our primary mission is to provide our students with a season of theology, learning and formation in community for a lifetime of discipleship, mission and ministry.
We combine rich and engaging academic courses and closeknit community with flexible on-campus and online learning that fits around busy lives.
Everything we do is grounded in worship and directed towards the life and mission of the church.
SPTC offers two accredited academic programmes: a BA in Theology, Mission & Ministry, and an MA in Biblical and Theological Studies. Either one can be combined with our Formation Programme, which offers dynamic, skills-based practical and pastoral training and group mentoring for ministry of all kinds.

We believe theology is not purely an intellectual exercise, but that it can be transformative and life-giving – building up the whole church in discipleship and mission. We worship God whenever we gather to learn, and we see loving God with all our minds as part of life in the Spirit.

We believe that the best ways to grow and to be trained are in community, and in the contexts where we live and work – such as the local church. When we gather, we emphasise discussion, fellowship, shared journeys and live out our learning wherever God has placed us.

We believe it takes the whole people of God to serve the whole mission of God, and that we can all discover more of the riches of our Christian inheritance. We bring Christians together from many different churches, ages and stages as both students and lecturers. We benefit from teaching and shared learning within a diverse body of believers, exploring our own traditions, while encountering other perspectives.

We believe the church must engage theologically with the contexts and challenges of the contemporary world. We seek to shape generation of creative thinkers and missional leaders for Malaysia and across South East Asia.
ABOUT US
St Paul’s Theological College was founded in 2016 as an affiliate of St Mellitus College, widely thought to be one of the most exciting and innovative places to study theology and train for ministry in the UK. Under the covering of HTBB, we are privileged to be part of the Alpha Hub, as well as the Anglican Church of South East Asia.
